William R. Ratliff

Obituary: William R. Ratliff, 83, of Kannapolis, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 29, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury. William was born January 25, 1930 in Ruby, SC, to the late William Howard Ratliff and the late Ruth Gaddy Ratliff. He was a Korean War Veteran serving with the U.S. Army. He worked as an Electrician for a number of years before becoming an Electrical Contractor. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, August 31 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Benny Burgess. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, August 30th from 6 to 8 pm at Whitley's Funeral Home. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Ratliff and a brother, Jeral Ratliff. William's survivors include his son, Roger Ratliff and wife Leas and a brother, Carrol Ratliff and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Ratliff. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice.
Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, August 30, 2013 at Whitley's.

Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Carolina Memorial Park.
