William Kenneth Steinauer

William Kenneth Steinauer, 94, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away at home Thursday afternoon, January 16, 2025.

Born November 18, 1930, in King County, Washington, he was a son of the late William Walter Steinauer and Ione Sinnett Steinauer.

Mr. Steinauer had honorably served his country with the US Navy and had retired after many years of service as a furniture upholsterer.

Family members include his sons, Bill (Phyllis), Jim, Tom and Frank Steinhauer; daughters, Vicki Shelton and Debi Keskey, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Memorial services to remember and give thanks for Mr. Steinauer’s life will begin at 5:30 PM Thursday, January 23rd in the chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home.
