Willis Scott Humann

Obituary: Willis Scott Humann, 71, of Kannapolis passed away on Sept. 20, 2017. He was born September 7, 1946 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Willis and Margaret Hess Humann. He was preceded in death by a son, Brad Humann. Scott was a member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church where he was active in various church activities including former Board Chairman. He retired from Fieldcrest-Cannon Mills. Scott was beloved husband and grandfather. Funeral will be 4:00 PM Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Nelson Wright and Rev. Ron Hartman. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 4:00 PM Friday at Whitley's. Scott is survived by his wife, Pamela Humann, son, Marc Humann, three grandchildren, Lauren, Brent and Emma, sister, Julie Carson (Jim), brothers, Kevin Humann (Bea), Paul Humann (Sheila) and Greg Humann (Diane).
