Obituary: Winnie Elizabeth Miller age 83, died Tuesday Oct. 6, 2009 at CMC NorthEast Medical Center Concord after a short illness. Funeral services will be Saturday Oct 10, 2009 at 3:00 P M at Whitley's Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P M Saturday before the service, burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. Rev Gene Edwards will officiate. Survivors are two sons James Miller of Salisbury and Randy Miller of China Grove. One daughter Sharon Sechler of Kannapolis and two sisters Carolyn Spotts and Joan Scott both of Pennsylvania. Also 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 11, 1925 in Lincoln County, N.C. to the Late W. E. Moretz and the late Winnie Blevins Moretz. She was educated in the Watauga County Schools and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Miller was a loving mother and grandmother.
