Zachary Thomas Watson

Zachary (Zach) Thomas Watson, 31, of China Grove went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2022. He was born March 31, 1991 in Cabarrus County, a son of Tammy Thomas Watson and the late Donald Wayne Watson, Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorine Watson and Sam and  Barbara Thomas.

Zach worked at Ashley Furniture in Gastonia as a salesman prior to his passing. He was an avid baseball fan, having played for the majority of his life. He also loved fishing and karaoke.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Westside Church of the Nazarene officiated by Rev. William Davis and Mark White. His family will receive friends prior from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the church.

Zach is survived by his mother, Tammy Watson, sister, Faith Watson, grandfather, Donald Wayne Watson, Sr. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were much like siblings to Zach.
