Danny Keith Rollins

Danny Keith Rollins, 64, of Salisbury, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Danny was born on April 2, 1958 in Cabarrus County, to the late Steve Rollins and Gail Beam Rollins.

Danny was an intelligent, loyal, and hardworking man who had a talent for upholstery work, repairing, building, and fixing anything. He was a perfectionist who took pride in his work and loved working with his hands. Most of all, he loved his family and was selfless, humble and thoughtful. He had a quiet nature, but when he spoke, laughter was sure to follow. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 29 years, Karen Rollins; daughters, April (Greg) Bratton, Ginger Clement, and Michelle Hobday; son, Joshua Rollins. He was Pop Pop to Alyssa “Suzy”, Dakota, Dylan, Gracyn, Ava “Rina”, and Adaline. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie McGugan and brother, Terry (Mona) Rollins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Whitley’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow and begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy White and Pastor Terry Rollins officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Claude Mash Cemetery in Jefferson, NC.
