Linda Beaver Hatley, 83, of China Grove., peacefully passed away Thursday morning, February 2, 2023, at Tucker Hospice House.
Born November 25, 1939, in Concord, she was the daughter of the late Narry H. and Mae Rogers Beaver. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Pinion, Jr.
Earlier, Linda had been a photographer and associated with the Norwood Newspaper. She most enjoyed working as a marketing supervisor, where she was able to come in contact with lots of people. Strong in her faith, she was a member of First Reformed Church and had spent a lot of time witnessing to others at the Brian Center, where she had been a resident. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister, Mrs. Hatley will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Family members include her devoted husband of nearly 33 years, Gary Hatley; her children, Pam Lavigne (Brian), Jeff Pinion (Dee), David Pinion (Amy), Karen Efird and Leesa Plemmons; her grandchildren, Sandra Waltrath, Jenifer Lavigne, Stephanie Hinson, Mary Eason (Gary), Nick Pinion, Athena Graham and Trevor Efird; her great grandchildren Vanessa Waltrath and Phoenix Hinson; and her brother, Dr. N.H. Beaver, Jr.and wife, Robin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 7th from 11:30-1:00 pm at First Reformed Church in Landis. Services to remember and celebrate Linda’s life will begin at 1:00 pm in the church, conducted by Reverend David Franks, Pastor. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.
