Pamela Diane Tucker

Pamela Diane Tucker, 64, of China Grove, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 3, 2023 at her residence.

Pamela was born on July 15, 1958 in Sumter County, South Carolina. She was the cherished daughter of the late George Tillman Tucker and Winona Russell Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Jeanette Purser; and her brothers, Donald and Richard Tucker.

Pamela was a very educated lady, with a double bachelor’s degree in science and Psychology. Knowledge and studies came easy to Pamela, and she graduated in top of her class. She spent her career as a charge nurse over several floors in the hospital. In appreciation of her hard and caring work, she was awarded a bronze statue from North-East Hospital. Pamela enjoyed cooking and was very skilled at drawing. She loved decorating especially for Halloween. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and dog, Reese.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Amber Purser; grandchildren, Seth and Alyssa Purser; nephew, Aaron Long; niece, Kelly Nash; sister, Mary Long; and her brother, George Tucker.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Freedom Christian Worship Center Rockwell Church of God.
